Using our PolySim^sm product family, which includes modeling tools ranging from static analysis through full dynamic system emulation, we can make estimates of line operating efficiency, identify design "pinch points", and evaluate the performance of new or existing lines.

Our PolySim^sm Emulation capability allows us to build a model of the packaging system that interfaces with the PLC.  This allows us to test and debug the controls off-site, in our office, before the physical equipment is even installed.  As a result, startups are faster and there is less time spent in the field testing and re-writing code under pressure during startup.  Since our emulation model is an actual representation of the manufacturing line, complete with the HMI screens that the operator will see on the floor, it serves as an excellent off-line training tool allowing operators to become familiar with the system in a non-production environment.
